Description

This is a very nice 3mio Serial Submariner Date vom 1972. Like so very often the original red dial had been replaced in the late 1970s/early 1980s when the new white dial was en vogue. This white dial variation was only used as replacement dial and tells the story of this beautiful vintage Sub. It has a very nice patina and a cool vintage look but still leaves you the option of sourcing an "open 6 feet first" red dial.

Dial / Zifferblatt / Cadran:: very nice "white" T<25 matte replacement dial with beautiful yellow coloured Tritium and well matching, original handset

Bezel / Lünette / Lunette:: very nice original rotating steel bezel with original black fat font insert that has faded to a dark grey and original yellow tritium pearl

Crystal / Glas / Verre:: very good original acrylic crystal with magnifier at 3h

Bracelet / Armband / Bracelet:: very nice original Rolex 9315 folded link Oyster bracelet with folding clasp (marked 1 72), some signs of wear but in well wearable condition, total length ca. 20cm
