This is a fantastic exampel of Longines late 1960s attempt to be on top of the chronograph accuracy game. These first examples were equipped with the cal. 538 which was a converted version of the legendary cal. 30CH. It came with an additional gauge at the tip of the chronograph second hand for more precise time reading, indicating 1/10th of a second.

This watch has just returned from St. Imier where it was completely overhauled but kept in its beautiful original condition. Thus it comes with a 2yr Longines warranty on the original Longines bracelet.
